Simulation Event KUKA & Visual Components 2026

On April 29, 2026, Flexcon will participate as an official sponsor at the Simulation Event organized by KUKA and Visual Components, held at KUKA’s headquarters in Augsburg, Germany.

The event brings together companies, system integrators, and international experts to explore the latest applications of 3D simulation, Digital Twin, and Virtual Commissioning in manufacturing environments.

Flexcon’s Role

Flexcon is an Italian engineering company, founded in 2006, specialized in the simulation of industrial and logistics systems. It is the official distributor of Visual Components and Visual Components OLP in Italy, supporting companies in the development of:

  • Digital Transformation and Manufacturing Efficiency initiatives
  • Smart Factory models
  • Factory Layout Optimization projects
  • simulation solutions for Virtual Commissioning

Flexcon will bring its application expertise in Visual Components, engaging with international partners and customers while presenting practical approaches to industrial simulation.

Participation in the event represents an opportunity to strengthen dialogue with the international ecosystem and contribute to the development of increasingly integrated solutions between simulation and automation. In this context, Visual Components acts as a bridge between KUKA technologies and the expertise that Flexcon brings to Italian companies, supporting the simulation and validation of processes and solutions.

The Initiative

The Simulation Event originates from KUKA’s strategic vision, which led to the acquisition of Visual Components in 2017, recognizing early the central role of simulation in the development of the factory of the future. A forward-looking decision: integrating robotics and 3D simulation into a single digital ecosystem.

With Visual Components, it is possible to connect design, validation, and commissioning of complex production systems. From layout planning to robotic cells, up to offline programming. All within a single integrated environment. The objective is clear: to reduce errors, time, and costs before physical commissioning.

Today, the Simulation Event reflects this approach. It places Digital Twin, Virtual Commissioning, and Smart Factory at the center. Technologies that enable companies to manage complexity and improve performance across the entire production lifecycle.
