FlexSim Core Open Training

The FlexSim Core Open Training is an introductory course designed for FlexSim users who want to build a solid foundation in simulation modeling and learn how to apply FlexSim to typical industrial and logistics scenarios.
Unlike dedicated corporate training, this format is open to the public and is scheduled several times throughout the year, typically three sessions per year. The course is delivered online across five training days, distributed over a two-week period. This format allows participants to progressively practice the concepts introduced during the sessions while maintaining regular work activities.
Following the structure of the standard FlexSim Core Training program, it focuses on practical modeling exercises and real-world examples.
Target audience
The training is exclusively available to FlexSim users.
We designed this course for users who want to learn the core functionalities of FlexSim and start building simulation models independently. A general STEM background is recommended, but not required.
Technical requirements
Participants must:
- have FlexSim 2026 or later LTS versions installed on their computer
- have an active FlexSim commercial license available for use throughout the course

Course program
The FlexSim Core Open Training follows the structure of the standard FlexSim Core Training program and covers the fundamental topics required to build simulation models using FlexSim.
Participants learn the core functionalities of FlexSim GP (General Purpose), including Discrete Event Simulation fundamentals, Process Flow logic, task executers, AGV routing, warehousing, conveyors, performance analysis, and practical model development using the latest LTS version of FlexSim.
The course combines practical examples and hands-on exercises to help participants build and analyze typical manufacturing, logistics, and material handling simulation models.
Upcoming sessions
To reduce the impact on normal business activities, the training is distributed over two weeks instead of a single full working week.
